Mildred “Millie” Annette Smith Wilson was born to Anna Rebecca Coy and Leon Byron Smith on January 30th, 1921 in Santa Ana, CA. She had one younger brother, Leon Byron Smith Jr. She was raised entirely in Orange County and remained there until her marriage to William Proctor Wilson, whom she met while working at Lockheed Aircraft during WWII. During their 33-year marriage, Millie and Bill also lived in Toronto, Chicago, and New Jersey while raising their two daughters. By the early 1970s, Millie returned to California, choosing Westlake Village, where she resided for the remainder of her life. She worked as an accounts receivable manager at W S Shamban and Company until she retired in her mid 70’s. Mille passed away peacefully in her sleep on Nov 27th, 2020, only two months shy of her 100th birthday. She is preceded in death by her brother, Lee, and her former husband Bill Wilson. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne Wilson and Laura Lee Linton (Gary), three grandchildren, Paula Miller (Gordon), Bill Wilson (Melissa), Heather Ross (Peter), four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
