Devoted husband of the late Bonita (nee Eilmann), loving father of Jon Paul (Marcy) Demko, dearest grandfather of Stella Ruth Demko and Adeline Gail Demko, dear brother of Steven (Marlene) Demko and Delores (Freida) Demko, brother-in-law of late Robert (Donna) Eilmann, Ervin (Linda) Eilmann, and Late Betty (Jon) Green, dearest uncle, cousin, and friends to many. Jake proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Jake, being a nature lover, enjoyed traveling to visit his brother Steven and enjoying his many trips to the Ohio River. Jake was a very generous and loving man, who was totally dedicated to his son Jon, daughter-in- law Marcy, and his grandchildren Stella and Adeline. His family was his world. Jake was a hard worker, never retiring, his final employment position was a plant manager at Nicopress National Telephone and Supplies which he truly enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 5-8 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home 23040 Center Ridge Rd. Westlake,44145, where Services and military honors will be held Monday evening, May 15, 2023, at 7PM. Fr. Jim Winings will give a brief final blessing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101 Cleveland, Ohio 44192, who gave Jake so much love and care through final days.
