Robert J. Baumann

ROBERT JOSEPH BAUMANN, born September 25, 1928, in Racine, Wisconsin, went home to be with Our Lord, on Father's Day, Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the age of 84. Robert was the beloved husband for almost 63 years, of Marilyn (nee Wilear); whom he married in 1950. His legacy and proudest accomplishment in life was being a devoted and loving husband and cherished father of Paulette Rooksberry (Joseph deceased), Carla Zinser (Emile), Scott (Debbie), Brian (Ann Sekerak), Steven (deceased), Denise Langston (Mark), Stuart (Kellie) and Janet Kuzmiak (Jerry); and proud grandfather of 19 and great-grand-father of 16. Robert was the dear brother of Clare Rothmeyer (K. Ronald, deceased) and brother-in-law of Gene Wilear. Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 19, from 4 - 7 p.m., at the CATAVOLOS-BERRY FUNERAL HOME, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at Holy Spirit Parish, 410 Lear Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
