She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late John and Rose Brodnick. Mae was the beloved wife of the late George, who predeceased her in 2010; loving mother of Sandra (Virgel, deceased) Zanick and Allen (Darlene) Preiss; cherished grandmother of Scott (Carson Slade) Zanick, Suzanne Ellis, Stacey (John) Kinter, Kelly (Chris) Falkenstein, Kristy (John) Parker, Allen Jr. (Allison) Preiss; great-grandmother of Corbin, Landen, Isabelle, Isaac, Valerie, Parker, Johnnie, Austin, Grady, Annalise, Brock, Allen and Paisley and great-great grandmother of Sophia; dear cousin and friend of many. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Toby.
She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church in North Ridgeville and of St. Brendan's Church in North Olmsted where she was a Holy Duster for many years. Mae was a devoted wife, mother, nana, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who cherished her time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1030AM at St. Brendan Church, 4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted, where the family will receive friends from 930AM until the time of Mass. Interment services will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in her memory be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72700, Cleveland, Ohio 44192, in memo line add "Lorain County" or to a charity of one's choice.
