It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who has touched all our lives. When that person is gone, there is a vast hole where he used to be, and that’s how we are feeling in his absence. It is not going to be easy to say goodbye. At such a difficult time, it’s important to remember the good memories we all have of Brent.
By holding on to those memories we can reminisce and help each other find comfort in this moment of grief. To know Brent was to know a love that would shield you in a storm, that covers those closest to him and that is so deeply rooted in his family.
Though Brent’s time on earth was short, it was nothing short of memorable. The lives that were lucky enough to be intertwined during the time he spent with us, will forever be impacted. He will be severely missed by us on earth but what he has now is to be envied by all. Seated next to his lord and savior where there is no more pain and suffering, only joy and peace.
Brent is survived by his parents, Mitchell and Debra Winn; his brothers, Shane and Matt Winn- and their families; his two sons Drew Winn and Brayden Winn and his spouse Kenzie Winn and their daughter, his granddaughter, Marie Clare Winn. Also leaving behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will celebrate Brent’s life by gathering at Westlake Church of God, 140 Maddox Drive in Westlake, Louisiana, Saturday, September 23rd at 10:30 am.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hixsonwestlake.com for the Winn family.
