Carol Sue Bunch, age 72, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in Rosepine, Louisiana. Carol was born on March 18, 1952 in Oakdale, Louisiana to Aubrey Hanson Willis and Bertie Jewel Willis.
Carol was a loving partner, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed. She loved doll collecting, movies, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carol was an avid seamstress who was known for making dolls, doll and barbie clothes, and anything else that she could sew.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Wilda Jean Borel.
Those left to cherish her memory are a loving lifelong partner, Kenneth Domingue, a son, Jason Bunch and wife, Penny; daughter, Melinda Vauter and husband, Johnny; daughter, Angela Stroh and partner, Herschel; a brother, Charles Morgan Willis; a sister, Melissa "Sam" Simmons; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of other extended family.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 in the Chapel at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. There will be no graveside service to follow.
