August 25th,1957- September 13th, 2022
Yvonne Dee Tetrick was called to start her next adventure on September 13th, 2022. She walked without pain into the sunset.
Yvonne Dee (Snelson) Tetrick was born to Richard and Rosie Snelson on August 25th of 1957 in Price, Utah.
Yvonne was a special soul and ray of light on this planet. She always had a nice thing to say, she never spoke an ill word or thought towards anyone. She always had time to listen, wipe tears away, have a cup of coffee, give a hand up, or a sunny perspective with a smile.
Yvonne was known for so many things, but the one thing that was her pride and joy were the three amazing men she raised. She always said, “I crafted & raised the perfect house husbands for her future daughters. I taught them all how to sew, craft and cook, I didn’t have any girls to show how.”
She enjoyed several hobbies that included yarn (literally bucket full), sewing, reading (not always PG rated) novels, writing, crafting, cooking for her family. She had a luster for learning, and if she saw it in a store for sale, she would learn how to make it, and save her money for Wendover. She always vowed to make it back to the beaches of Hawaii or the Oregon Coast.
Being outdoors with her family and friends. She coveted sneaking away on adventures and traveling where the road took her, especially her coveted trips to Wendover to gamble the nights away. Her lap dog obsession, and love of animals in general has been passed down through ALL her children and grands.
The biggest source of Mom’s (Yvonne) joy was her family. She wore her life experiences growing up as a Navy brat and living all over the United States. Adding the title of “Mom” to her badges of honors left her speechless. The ultimate end game for her was Grams, and Great Grams. Her two Daughter in Laws will swear that if there was a Mother-in-Law pageant or jackpot, they won it all.
Yvonne is survived in death by her Mother Rosie Senelson, brother Dave Snelson, Sister-in-Law June Fitzegarld, Judy Steinau (Squire); Brother-in-Law Jeff Tetrick; Sons: Joshua Tetrick, Jacob Tetrick (Michelle), Jason Tetrick (Courtney), Grandchildren: McKayla Tetrick, Carisma Jean Tetrick, Cam Tetrick (Haley), and Caleb Tetrick; Great Grandchildren: Kyurem, Zephyr and Ember. Nieces and Nephews: Dustin (Tracy) Snelson, Danielle Snelson (Mike), Davi Donahue (Chris), and serval more extended family and friends.
Yvonne is proceeded in death by her Grandparents: Minie and Jerry Lodeserto; Lawrence & Velma Snelson; Father: Richard Snelson; Sister: Sheryl Snelson; Husband Elton Tetrick; Sister-in-Law Tammy Woolsey.
