Ronald Lynn Grundvig

Everyone who knew Ron knew of his love for animals, especially his cats. He was continually taking in and feeding the strays. If they were injured or sick, he would see that they received proper care. Ron was a mechanical/automotive whiz and was always available to fix a rock chip in your windshield, tweak your carburetor to stop that rough idle, or change your timing to increase your horsepower. He loved drag racing and classic cars and trucks. If you were ever in doubt of his favorite color all you had to do was look at his metallic orange Raptor truck…or his orange socks. Ron was always willing to help his neighbors, checking on their welfare or seeing if they needed something at the store. We love you Ron, you have touched and enriched our lives. We will miss you.

Ronald is survived by his brothers Alan (Jill) Grundvig, Daniel (Pamela) Grundvig, David Grundvig, Calvin (Lanie) Grundvig, and sister Catherine (Larry) Zolman.

In lieu flowers, Ron would appreciate donations be made to the West Valley City animal shelter or the ASPCA.

A memorial service will be held at Valley View Memorial Park 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah, on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
