Peggy Ilene Bowden Woods

1959 ~ 2013

Peggy Ilene Bowden Woods, age 54, passed away July 13, 2013 after a hard fought battle with breast cancer in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born May 18, 1959 to Clair Bowden and Jean Jenkins Bowden. She graduated from Cyprus High School. She married Cecil Woods (Woody), and they later divorced. Peggy lived life to the fullest. Her greatest joys were spending time with family and friends, the beach, fishing and her animals. She was a longtime employee of the Post Office. Peggy’s family would like to thank Bob for the amazing care that he gave to her. They would also like to thank the Huntsman Cancer Hospital for making her last days as comfortable and as peaceful as possible. Her children would like to thank everyone who was by her side until the end.

Peggy is survived by her long-time companion, Bob Rasband; children, Josh (Stephanie) Bowden and Jaylyn (Cody) Hardman; grandchildren, Stesha, Marcus, Kason Bowden, Dalley and Mikelle Hardman; parents, Clair and Jean Bowden; siblings, Lynda (Jay) Mitchell and Elaine (Doug) Wensel, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Vickie Bowden and Janice Bowden Fonger.

In lieu of flowers an account has been set up in her name to help with medical expenses at Cyprus Credit Union.
