She was extremely passionate about things that were important to her. Family came above all else. She was honest, outspoken, loyal, caring and thoughtful. She organized many family parties, reunions, vacations and luncheons. She remembered important life events such as her parent’s fiftieth wedding anniversary and planned a cruise of a lifetime for them and their family.
Her joys included traveling. She worked at Delta Air Lines and she was a world traveler. Some of her most memorable adventures included Africa, Russia, the Baltic, European river cruising, the British Isles, Mexico and the Caribbean. She loved going on getaways with her cousins. She also had a deep love for the outdoors. She loved going to Yellowstone and the family cabin.
She loved her sons and daughters-in-law deeply. She was grateful for the opportunities she had to spend with her grandson, Jaxson.
She was a great friend. Nothing buoyed your spirit more than spending time with her.
She was a volunteer for Rescue Rovers dog adoptions and a cancer advocate. She gave her time freely to the causes she loved and participated in several fundraising walk-a-thons.
Her family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff, doctors and nurses at LDS Hospital who did so much to make Kristy’s life better.
She is survived by her husband Ken Kemp; sons Jeff (Kaycee) Kemp and John (Jennifer) Kemp; parents Ed and Kay Brown; sister Kimberly (David) Hinckley and their children Patrick and Paris; and grandson Jaxson Kemp.
