Kara “Boots” Foil born on February 12, 1986, in Garden City, KS passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on May 23, 2024, at the age of 38 in West Jordan, UT. She passed away from doing what she loved.
Kara married her ride-or-die partner in crime on October 10, 2010, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had 3 amazing children together: Brayden "Bubba," Rextyn "Tin," and Kinsley "Poopy." She took pride in being a bonus mom to James "JJ" as well. She lived her life for her children and took pride in being a great wife, mom, sister, and friend. She loved the country, being outdoors, riding motorcycles, and horses, as well as family time and staying busy. She always loved wearing her boots. She had the most enormous heart for those around her and it was hard not to love her. Many looked up to her and loved to be with her. Seeing new things never got old nor did visiting her hometown of Dodge City, KS where she grew up until 2000 when she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kara had so many great qualities that will be forever missed: her love for helping others and having a good time helped make many memories that are held dear.
Kara is survived by her loving husband Brandon; prides and joys, James, Brayden, Rextyn and Kinsley; Parents John and Terri Marks, Father Kenneth Weiss (Bernie), Siblings, Staci, Cody (Brittany), Haley; Nieces and nephews, Morgan, Blake, Adelaide, Stormy and Brooklyn. Plus, many cousins and friends.
Kara is preceded in death by her adored nephew Hunter as well as her best friend through her cancer journey her grandma Dolores.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on June 1st at Valley View Memorial. Her viewings will be held from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm on May 31st, 2024, and again on June 1st from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Burial to follow Services at Valley View Memorial Park.
Kara has requested that dress attire be your jeans and favorite boots.
