Gary Brookins Jr.

Gary served in the US Marines Corp from 1968-1972. He served during the Vietnam War and in Desert Storm. He worked at Tooele Army Depot for many years then moved onto Corpus Christi, TX. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, hunting and guns. Gary had just started to enjoy riding in the Side X Sides with his kids. He was also part of SASS Cowboy Shooting Club. Gary was a great father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.

Gary is survived by: Jody (Scott) New, Gary L. (Rachel) Brookins, Vincent (Traci) Brookins; sister Karen (Lee) Nelson; 9 grandkids, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him very much.

Gary is preceded in death by: Wife, Gloria Jean Brookins, Mother, Patricia (Kirk) Brookins, Father, Gary Brookins SR; sister Donna Harrison and brother Douglas Brookins.

Services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park 4100 S. 4335 W. West Valley City, Utah. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 6-8PM. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 2PM with a viewing prior at 1PM and burial at 3PM.
