Evan Taylor Riding passed away on March 1, 2013 at the age of 77 surrounded by loved ones.
Evan was born on July 17, 1935 to Edwin Taylor and Eulalla Riding. Evan graduated from Delta High School. He married Loretta Overson on June 13, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. Member of the LDS Church. Worked for Premium Oil gas station in Granger, Utah. Later retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Evan is survived by his wife, Loretta, and children Laureen (Jerry), Ken Riding (Janet), Brian Riding (Holly), and Natalie Reid (Keith); sister, Colleen Ashby and brother, Dale Riding (Shaunna); 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings and a grandson, Chad Taylor Riding.
Funeral services for Evan will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. Viewing will be on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday morning one hour prior to service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
