Edna Earle (Mims) Jares, age 88 passed away November 21, 2018 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
She was born August 20, 1930 in Marshall County, Alabama to William Earl Mims and Myrtis Melvina Mims. Edna married Joseph Lee White and later David Lavern Jares. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Edna loved to crochet gifts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel, and her favorite destination was Disneyland. She worked at Associated Foods in the packaging department for over 25 years.
Edna is survived by her children: Patricia Turnbow (Boyd), Bob White (Kim), Darlene Harward, Todd Jares (Paula), Tracey Lehman (Mike). Siblings: Ruth Dobbins. She had 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: William Earl Mims and Myrtis Melvina Mims, Brother: Kenneth Mims, Husband: Joseph White, and Husband: David Jares.
Services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Pioneer Ward/Sandy West Stake 8670 South 220 East, Sandy, Utah 84070. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the services at the same location.
Interment at Valley View Memorial Park 4400 West 4100 South, WVC, Utah 84120.
