Dean Lloyd Richards

1946-2011

Dean Lloyd Richards, age 64, passed away March 27, 2011.

Born May 16, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glen Joseph and Maxine Lloyd Richards. He grew up in Magna, Utah and attended Cyprus High School.

Dean enjoyed spending time cruising around town in his red corvette and spent much of his time outdoors hunting and fishing. His favorite fishing spot was the Duchesne River.

Dean was married to Shawna Conti and later divorced. He and Shawna had a daughter, Jamie Dawn and granddaughter Randi Marie.

Dean was married to Harriet Simmons in September of 1970. He enjoyed the memories created during their 26 years of marriage including playing tennis and board games with the family and attending sporting events of their children and grandchildren. Children: Denise O’Bryan (Jeff); Kristin Zesiger (Calvin); Jeffery Richards; grandchildren Henry, Annie and Jack O’Bryan; Danny and Ryan Burt; Cody and Camille Zesiger.

Survived by his brother David Richards (Ann) and sister Ellen Richards including all children and grandchildren listed above.

Preceded in death by his parents and stillborn daughter, Patricia.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, with a viewing from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
