1955 ~ 2013
Cindy Ann Black, 58, peacefully went to meet her Heavenly Father surrounded by family on Wednesday, Nov. 27th 2013. She was afflicted with ARDS and congestive heart failure.
She was born in Ogden, Utah, on March 3, 1955 to Don Maurice and Doris Weenig Black. She grew up in Utah, Idaho and California with six brothers and sisters, Linda Kay Black, Michael Don (Paulette) Black, Barbara Ayling, Susan (Sy) Black-Stras, Mark William (Cynthia) Black and Brian Black. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Her life was filled with the joy of learning and serving others. With a Masters Degree in Education, Cindy succeeded in helping many of today’s youth gain their educational goals in Nevada and Utah. She was employed by Davis School District at Mountain High School in Kaysville.
She was an awesome homemaker with a flair for design. She adopted two precious daughters, Adrienne Dawn and Bella Doris and strived to be the best mom ever. She had a strong testimony of her Savior and served a LDS mission in Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday December 5, 2013 at the Windsor Meadows 2nd Ward Chapel, 315 Chelemes Way (2200 South) in Clearfield. Friends and family may visit the church Wednesday Dec. 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as well as from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. before the service. Interment will be at Plain City Cemetery.
