He graduated from Kearns High School. At 13, living in West Jordan, he met the love of his life Lora L. Reese. Andy and Lori wed on August 30th, 1985.
He was a hard-working man who owned and operated Handy Andy Handyman and Remodeling Services. He was equally as hard playing, known to scuba dive, sky dive, and run his motorcycle & drag bike at The Rocky Mountain Raceway.
His positive attitude and willingness to push through difficulty gave him the name "Happy Guy" at Bard, where he worked for the last two years of his life, and laid supportive foundation for his family.
He was preceded in death by his birth daughter MaeLynn Harris. He was survived by his wife Lori, mother Gail (Jim) Sorensen and father Roger (Carolyn) Reese, five siblings, three children; Devan (Bekkee), Jaide (Lindsi), and Tonia (Ryan) Carlsen, and six grandchildren.
Andy was cremated and in light of his fun-loving, adventurous personality, a Celebration of Life will be announced and held. www.valleyviewfuneral.com
