Nunzio Ferrucci

FERRUCCI- Nunzio at age 93, passed away surrounded by family, November 25, 2022. Son of the late Emilio and Grace (Fecondo); husband to Linda Zink and the late Marie Jablonski; brother to the late Emilio (Christine), late Sando (Sylvia) and late Maria (late Sal) DeSanto; brother in law to the late Robert (Becky) Jablonski, late Floyd (Doris) Jablonski, late Rita (late Luke) Lukasik; father to Emilio (Lorraine), Thomas (Claire), Laura (Sid) Castricone, Joseph (Kim), Grace (David) Dettelis; stepfather to Jeff (Teresa) Zink, Jim (Nicki) Zink, Lisa (late Brett) Fries and John (Michelle)Zink; grandfather to 13, great grandfather to 26, step grandfather to 9, step great grandfather to 2; survived by many nieces and nephews. Nunzio was a simple man but whose heart was always unmeasurable with his love for his family and all that knew him. His thoughts always returned to family and to know everyone was well. He resided at the family “cabin” in Allegany, NY. A place that was a family magnet that drew us from near and far. His father started the construction firm, Ideal Concrete,Inc., in 1958 that he soon took over upon his father’s passing and controlled until he retired in 1990. His legacy lives on with his children bringing it onto the fourth generation strong. He was an avid outdoorsman with his love for fishing, hunting, impressive wine maker and his love of cooking. He will leave a void in the hearts to all whom lives he touched. Family will be present Wednesday 2-8 PM at HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca.
