Linda and I send our sincere condolences for your loss. Kathy was always such a positive part of our store’s culture. Know she will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the whole family.  So saddened by this news and my heart aches for her family.   I'm sure her husband was waiting for her into heaven with open arms .  I wish I could have been able to make the memorial but please know I was thinking of Kathy and the working memories I have had with her at JC Penney,  and what a nice person she was.  The last time I ran into Kathy was a few months ago when she stopped by where I worked.   May god rest her soul. Rest in peace Kathy,,,

We were so sorry to hear about the death of Kathy. We have many fond memories from the hockey days spent together. Also had many conversations with her when she worked at Penney’s. She always was so  friendly and engaging. Hope all the fond memories of your times spent together brings peace to you hearts.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing.  I worked at McKinley JCPENNEY for almost 12yrs and really loved your Mom. I changed careers but always tried to stay in touch with JCP family on Facebook. I actually ran into her a while back at Market in the Square after Covid started. We had a great time reminiscing about JCP,  the loss of both our husbands, our families & that she loved working at the school & i’m helping to raise grandchildren. May you find peace & comfort knowing that your parents are now rejoicing together in heaven😇😇

I will be forever grateful for Kathy.  It was September of 1987 when I was looking for a babysitter for my daughter, Jeana, for half day kindergarten at Allendale.   The previous babysitter just quit at the last minute.  I put up a slinger at school during some kind of open house.  She was the only person to take my number.  She was a life saver.  My husband and I always enjoyed talking  to her at Pennys'.  We would talk about Tommy, Erin and Jeana as adults.   After she retired we missed her.  She will always be in my heart.  

Dear Tom, Erin & Family,

I was so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your beloved Mom.  Cathy was so very dedicated, compassionate and loving.

For several decades she coordinated the Thanksgiving and Christmas donation drives at JC Penney's that benefitted our youngest patients receiving care at the WNY Children's Psychiatric Center.  I became here friend while she generously and compassionately worked so tireless for our special children.

As her friend she always was so proud of you both and of your families. She loved being a wife to your beloved Dad, being a Mother-In-Law, Grandmother and of course Mom to her amazing children.  If you were lucky enough to know her you knew you two were the loves of her life.

I know she is watching over you both and sharing with your Dad how much she enjoyed her life because of you both and the rest of your families.  They both of watching over all of you with love, gratitude and pride.




To Cathys wonderful  family my deepest condolences on the loss of your dear Cathy I have worked with her for the past few years she was an instant friend her laughter & enjoyment for everything was amazing her love & pride for her family was a instant connection for us both she will be missed but never forgotten 

My husband John and I met Kathy as well as her daughter Erin and friend Kerin in the Caymen Islands a few years back.  She was so kindhearted and so much fun to be around.   I am very saddened to hear of her passing.  To her family and friends John and I would like to express our deepest condolences.  

Kathy was a great person to work with at JCPenney.she was hard working and funny . I will miss her alot. My condolences to the family.

I am shocked and saddened at this news. I worked with Kathy years ago at JC Penney’s and have been friends on Facebook also. I loved knowing her and seeing all her family adventures. May you find comfort in all the memories with those she left behind. ❤️

i am so sorry to all of Cathys family and she was such a wonderful person and my first manager at JCPenneys and I had such fun at work with Cathy.  My heart goes to all of her family at this time.
