Remember sitting around the campfire blowing stuff up and making the fire change colors. 
I remember you working at Sears as I was growing up. I wish our family would have been closer.

Uncle Jim was a man who "really" lived  life. Many of us just live out  our time here on Earth, but Uncle Jim REALLY knew how to LIVE life. His generosity, his love for all,  his kind heartedness, and his sense of adventure live on through each of his  children. Rest in Peace Uncle Jim for you are once again reunited with the love of your life.  I am positive I can hear the Lord say, "Well done; my good and faithful one. Welcome to the place where you belong!". 

I think that my most amusing memory would be when my Dad had gotten his new 4WD Chevy Blazer, and sold our station wagon to Mr. Hoffman. We took the Blazer for a ride off-road....can’t remember all who were with us, but Adam was.  This I remember because Adam thought we were surely going to die out there in the “wilderness” that was the field alongside the high-voltage power lines and within a short walk to the Hoffman home, where we were 4-wheeling and, of course, got stuck in a muddy culvert...the Blazer wedged nicely between the two sides of the ditch, with the wheels dangling and hopelessly without traction.  In the end, it was Jim and the old station wagon that ultimately came to the rescue. Quite the humbling experience for the Blazer and it’s driver....and a fond memory told and re-told for years afterward. 

This is just one of the many memories I have of the times our families spent together. He will be sorely missed, but I know he is happy to be with Marie again in heaven. 

I have so many memories of my dear Aunt Marie & Uncle Jim. They were the cool young couple that actually included all of us cousins in fun things to do. Uncle Jim was always into fun projects. He built several mazes to crawl through in pitch darkness after being blindfolded placed in a “coffin “ and rolled across the street to where the maze was in my grandmas two car garage. It had 3 levels and took quite a bit of time to find our way out! The two of them taught us how to paper mache and then after it dried we came back and carefully painted them and the following get together we blew them up!!! Fun we never knew adults were capable of!!We hiked  uncharted tours in Zoar valley before rock climbing was a thing! We also loved to ride in his Jeep Wrangler across the creek in Zoar valley. He always made us kids feel important and for that I will never ever forget him!!!

With our deepest sympathy to family on your loss. Jim was our neighbor in Boston Hills Estates always looked got to his walk and to stop and tell us a joke or two. Will be missed

           I remember when Uncle Jimmy built a T-Bucket roaster. He stopped to see us on Luther Rd. Way back in the day. I was like 8 or 9 I think.  He took me for a ride in it up to the fishing game club.  As soon as he popped the clutch or brake pressed it, the front wheels came off the ground and we where at the Club in one blink.
           I also remember tons of family party's at the house across from Allendale school. The barn where he built that car and everyone there. Fond memories of those days.
          It's crazy how I have not seen anyone since then. Time flies bye so quick. Remember the times you have because life is short, like that blink of my eye.
