Jay Bridge, age 67, of Lake Clarke Shores Florida, passed away on August 20, 2022. Jay was born September 25, 1954 in Syracuse NY. He received a B.S. degree in Landscape Architecture from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry. Upon graduation, Jay moved to sunny South Florida and began his career as a Landscape Architect. In 1984 he joined Urban Design Studio and worked there until he retired in the spring of 2022.
Some of Jay's notable Landscape Designs at UDS include Palm Beach International Airport, Flagler Drive Waterfront, Ballen Isles, PGA National, and various projects at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
A true outdoorsman, Jay loved the Florida lifestyle. His hobbies included camping, hiking, boating, skiing, fishing and especially kayaking on the Loxahatchee River.
Jay loved his family as well as his UDS work family. He was a warm, friendly and fun loving person who will be missed by all.
Jay is survived by sisters Carol King and Jeanne Keplinger, brother Robert Bridge and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Jay's life will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, FL, 33417.
