Charlie Kelly, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on October 10, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Charlie worked for Publix Supermarkets, and retired as a District Manager after 40 years.
He was predeceased by his first wiife Beatrice, daughter Susan Deckert, and grandson Michael Deckert. Survived by his wife Ida, his children Barbara Smith, Karen Sharpe (Tracy), and Charles F. Kelly, Jr. (Victoria), stepchildren, Richard Taylor (Tricia), Angie Jellinek (Chris), twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach on Wednesday, October 14 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to his favorite charity may be made to House of Hope, 2484 South Bonita Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
