Wendy passed away peacefully and without pain on Wednesday afternoon, December 6th, 2017. Wendy will forever be loved by her dear friend Deborah, her husband Brent, and her beloved dog Breezy. Her three children Lisa, Ian, and Lizz will miss her deeply and are grateful for her life. Their mother taught them to value family, to seek adventures in the everyday, and to enjoy long walks. Her family--sister Gwen, niece Alex, nephew Erik, sister Kim, and brother Mike--will miss her music and delicious lasagna at family gatherings. Her love and devotion to her grandsons Hunter, Amos, and Sawyer will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers and in honour of her bond with Breezy, donations can be made to the Toronto Humane Society or to a dog rescue of your choice. Additionally, in memory of a holiday tradition Wendy had with her best friend Deborah, the family would like to encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food item with you that will be donated to the Scarborough Centre of Healthy Communities' food bank.
