Thomas Keough

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Thomas Keough – a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend – passed away at the age of 69 in his home on Tuesday August 11, 2020. He was first and foremost a funny man with a huge heart and he will be deeply missed by his family. He was born in 1950 in Corner Brook Newfoundland. He was one of 14 children. He moved to Toronto in 1983 where he met his dear wife and best friend Katherine Mitchell. He was preceded in death by Katherine (July 2006). He is survived by his four children (Chris [wife Kim], Nancy [husband Gene], Matt [wife Katie], and Leonie [husband Chris]) and seven grandchildren (Brianna, Ashlyn, Jaxson, Ezzie, Paige, Zoey, and Finn) who he loved more than life itself. He was preceded in death by six of his siblings (Peter, Anthony, Shawn, Madonna, Daliah Ann, & Theresa). He is survived by seven of his siblings (Doreen, Helen, Colleen, Marie, Paul, Mike, & Phonse). We would like to thank Dr. Edison Susman (his GP) for 35 years of exceptional care and support. A celebration of life service will be held on what would have been Thomas’ 70th birthday – September 21st, 2020 from 12 to 2pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home in Scarborough. This will be a time for us all to express our love for Thomas and share wonderful memories. He will forever be in our minds and hearts. We love you big guy and hope that you are resting in peace.
