It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mary Dalgarno (Bain) of Scarbourgh on October 5th 2022, at the age of 87. Her legacy lives on through her 7 children, Neil (Anna), Gordon, Mairi (William), Iain (Arleen), Sheila (Richard), Moira (Robert) and Christine. As well as her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years James Dalgarno.
Mary was known for her vivatious, kindhearted and generous personality; lighting up every room she stepped into. Mary enjoyed the simple things in life, like a warm tea while starring out at the lake, as well as singing and dancing to Ella Fitzgerald amoung other jazz greats.
Her passion for disability rights and her thirst for knowledge was an inspiration to many. And her constant warmth made her a friend to all she met.
She will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 12 to 4 pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON M1E 2S2.
