He will be missed and will remain forever in the hearts of his beloved wife of 58 years Teresa, children, Vito(Nancy), Gina, Christina and Michael, grandchildren Nicholas and Steven, brothers Domenic(Sandra), Luigi(Michele), Vito(Grace) and Gus(Antoinette).
He reunites with his brother Pasquale(Bianca), his mother and father (Olimpia and Vito) and his mother and father in law (Pasqua and Mike) in Heaven.
Born in Italy, Andy immigrated to Canada in 1953.
He had a natural gift for mechanics and was a very social, people person.
Andy loved to dance (especially to Spanish Eyes) with the love of his life Teresa and absolutely no one could sing Happy Birthday with quite as much gusto.
He was very funny, kind and generous, and made friends with everyone.
He adored his family, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and spent a lot of time socializing and laughing with them.
He always enjoyed a good meal, a vermouth on the rocks, wine and riding his bike around the neighbourhood. He preferred spending time outside tending his garden, fixing cars and surveying his neighbourhood from the porch. He turned grocery shopping into a fine art. His light will shine on forever and we are all better people for having such a wonderful man in our lives.
We would like to give special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at Providence Health Palliative. Their exceptional care and compassion is so greatly appreciated.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and support staff at Centenary Chemotherapy Clinic, St. Elizabeth Health Care, TransCare & VHA Home Healthcare.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to Providence Health Palliative
