Heather Robertson Thomas

Heather Robertson Thomas of Wilbraham, MA passed away at her family home in Harwich, MA on June 21, 2021. Born in Stuttgart, Germany on April 24, 1970 to Robert and Eileen (Ryder) Thomas while her father was serving in the United States Army. Heather grew up in New York, Pennsylvania, and moved to Wilbraham, MA in 1978. After graduating from Minnechaug Regional High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She made great friends at UMass when she joined the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Heather later earned a Master of Business Administration from Western New England University. While she most recently worked as a Marketing Communications Manager, Heather worked for a number of years along side her father at his company NorthPrint in West Springfield.

Heather enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod with her family, going to the beach and going out on the family boat “Moon River”. She loved music and singing, and had an incredibly big heart for animals. Many puppies and kittens were lucky to be rescued by her. Heather always looked forward to good times with her book club, sorority sisters and her lifelong childhood friends.

Heather was predeceased by her father Robert Thomas; will be greatly missed by her mother Eileen (Ryder) Thomas of Wilbraham, MA; along with her sister Meredyth Thomas of Boston, MA; her Aunt Robin and Uncle Joseph Carradini of Stuart, FL; Uncle Bruce and Aunt Jeanette Thomas of Wellsville, NY; Uncle William Griffiths of Lake Ariel, PA; her many cousins; and so many dear friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Heather’s name to Dakin Humane Society PO Box 6307 Springfield, MA 01101.
