Tami P. Irving, 59, was born January 14, 1961 in Des Moines to Ivyl and Loranell Ogle and passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 due to fall at her home. A memorial service will be held at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of life gathering at the Hotel Renovo located at 11167 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50322.
Tami was a loving, dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family at their lake house at Lake Ponderosa and cherished nothing more than volunteering at the schools their son, Ian, attended.
Tami will forever be missed by her family and friends for her infectious love of life, tremendous sense of humor, and her extensive kindness towards others.
Survivors include her husband, David Irving and son, Ian Irving of Clive; brother, Martin (Susan) Ogle of Laguna Beach, CA; sister-in-law, Shelly (Jim) Horton, Vickie (Ron) Obraza, and brother-in-law, Greg (Kristi) Irving; and many nieces and nephews. Tami was preceded in death by her parents, I.M. Ogle and Loranell; and brother, William Felter.
The family wishes to thank the staff at MercyOne Medical Center in the Neuro Trauma - ICU for the care Tami received. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue League.
