Lucille “Lucy” J. Bartlett, 81, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa surrounded by family. Lucy was born May 22, 1940, in Maynard, IA to Clarence and Dora (Monnahan) Draeger. She enjoyed working with her hands and some of hobbies included: painting and crafts, reading, and playing cards with family and friends. Family meant everything to her.
Lucy is survived by five children, Timothy (Tammy) Bartlett of Des Moines, Pam (Dan) Beaty of West Des Moines, Connie Bartlett of West Des Moines, Donald Bartlett of Des Moines and Michael (Leah Liston) Bartlett of Florida; twelve grandchildren, Nick, Jeromy, Josh, Shane, Matt, Nathan, Chris, Dusty, Chelcie, Kayla, Cassedee, Aiden; eleven great-grandchildren, Lili, Molly, Tanna, Daniel, Gianna, Sierra, Ryan, Grace, Kalin, Presley and Apollo; and brother David Draeger of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Wendell; sons, Frederick and Hezekiah; brothers, Ed and Larry; and her parents.
