A proud veteran, Clyde served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, working his way up to the rank of Sergeant. He carried his military pride throughout his life, remaining active with American Legion Post 374, where he enjoyed attending Wednesday evening meetings.
During his working years, Clyde held various jobs, including custodian and janitorial work, factory labor making wash tubs, and even cleaning sand pits. Though he lived a simple life, he had a charming way with the ladies and was known for his warm personality. Clyde enjoyed woodworking, often building birdhouses, and treasured the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Candy (Jose) Aguilar and JoAnn Bice and Nancy Bice; grandchildren, Jose (Perla) Aguilar, Cecilia (Blaine) Moyle, and Christina (Jared) Starr; and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Olivia, Jade, Julian, Stella, Blaine Jr., Magnus, Claire, and Nova.
