Chris graduated from Valley High School in 2000 and earned his graphic arts degree from DMACC in 2002. He began working shortly after graduation and briefly relocated to Phoenix, AZ, for a time before moving back to West Des Moines to be near family.
Chris loved watching sports, particularly the Buffalo Bills NFL team. He would make the trip to Buffalo to catch a game in person nearly every year. In addition to football, he enjoyed watching hockey and baseball as well. Chris was such an avid fan that he amassed a truly impressive collection of sports jerseys of all his favorite teams and players to show his support.
Chris also loved traveling with family to far-off destinations and recently returned from a father-son trip to Asia. Gaming was another one of his passions, and Chris could often be found at his gaming console. Chris was kindhearted, funny, and always quick with a story.
Chris is survived by his father, Robert Wiese; his half-siblings, Robert Green (Ingrid) and Lori Bennett (Bob); his nieces and nephews, Jonathan Ramsey, Bryce Green, Austin Green, Brydget Green, Nick Green, Maxwell Bennett, and Brooklyn Green; and his Aunt Barb Deuel and cousins Tarah Deuel and Dawn Deuel. Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Randi Wiese, half-brother Michael Green, and uncle, Terry Deuel.
