Christopher James Jensen, 46, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at his home in West Des Moines. He was born in Park Ridge, Illinois on August 18, 1967. Chris worked for 34’s, formerly Valley West Pub and Grill, for 10 years. Known to friends as Puddy, his absence to all who met and knew him will be felt every day.
Chris is survived by the love of his life and wife, Amy; parents, Jim and Jan Jensen; brothers, Eric and Dave Jensen; Amy’s family, Crystal Steig, Randy and Laurel Steig, Angela and Jason Blake; five nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, May and Dan Collins and Eleanor and Clarence Jensen; and uncles, Thomas and Robert Jensen.
Chris became quick friends with everyone he met; he never knew a stranger. His loyalties ran deep - Go Hawks! Go Cubs! Go Bears!
There will be a memorial gathering from 12 Noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines.
