Catherine “Katie” Rose Juliano, 96, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. A private family service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Katie was born June 23, 1925 in Des Moines to Frank and Ermalinda Rizzuti. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and after graduation, she began a long and rewarding career with Employers Mutual Companies. During her time there she was instrumental in converting the manual payroll system to a computerized system. Upon retirement, she continued to be a great source of support to all her family members.
Katie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and whom loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie; son, Mark; two brothers, Tony and Dominic; and two sisters, Rose and Carmela.
