Sulema G Robles

Viewing will be Thursday, the 27th, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held Friday 10 a.m., at St Pius Catholic Church and burial immediately thereafter. Funeral arrangements by Del Angel Funeral Home of Weslaco and burial at Highland Memorial Park.

Sulema was born on May 29, 1935, in Weslaco, TX. She attended school in Weslaco. Sulema worked for the Weslaco School District as a cafeteria cook for many years. Her passion was making sure her family was well-fed, clean, and had everything they needed. She enjoyed family gatherings and kept her grandkids close to her heart.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Reynaldo G Robles, her baby daughter, Melissa Robles, her parents, Casimiro Garza Sr and Guadalupe A Garza, and her brother, Casimiro Garza Jr.

Sulema is survived by her children: Reynaldo (Herminia) Robles Jr., Belinda Robles, Armando (Iris) Robles, Teresa (+Calixto) Cuellar, Noel (Leticia) Robles; 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was a life-long fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. If you wanted to spend time with her while her teams were playing, grab a chair because that's where she'd be.
