Michael "Mike" Alaniz, age 48, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Michael was born on March 31, 1974 to Francisco and Angelita Alaniz in Weslaco, Texas.
Michael is survived by his son Frank Alaniz, his siblings Armando Alaniz, Joel Alaniz, Domingo Alaniz, Enedelia Pedraza, Juanita Balli and Emma Solis.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Manuel Alaniz.
Michael was a family oriented and stoic man, he enjoyed being around his family and hanging out at the ranch. He worked construction most of his life, and was always ready to lend a hand. Most of all his love for animals was evident, he always had a pet around. He will be missed by many, and will forever live in our hearts.
Funeral services for Mr. Alaniz will be held privately at Heavenly Grace Crematory. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, followed by an inurnment at Highland Memorial Park.
