Juan Arjona Sr

Juan Arjona Sr., age 75, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday November 21,2024 at his residence in La Blanca, TX. As a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he was a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. He was known for his witty jokes, wisdom, and unwavering support, always there to lend a helping hand or share a cherished story.

Juan Arjona Sr. was one of 10 children and is preceded in death by his parents Jose Maria Arjona✝️ and Maria Elena Zambrano ✝️ and his sister, Fransisca Escobar ✝️

He was married to the love of his life, Alejandrina Arjona, for 58 years. Their love was a testament to the beauty of partnership and commitment, inspiring everyone around them. Together, they raised 5 children, and leaving behind to cherish and honor his legacy are: his daughters Maria Elena (Richard A.) Corona, Sophia (Jorge) Guerrero, Maria de Jesus Salazar, Monica Flores, one son Juan (Gloria B.) Arjona, 20 grandchildren , and 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Juan Arjona, Sr. was a lifelong member of Iglesia Misión de Fe Pentecostes of Edinburg, Tx. His pastors were Hermano Joel & Betty Varela. He will be remembered for his love of family and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

The viewing and burial will be held at the same location of Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home located at

6705 N. FM 88 in Weslaco, TX 78596. The viewing will be held on Sunday, November 24th at 9:00 a.m. (Overnight viewing available) and the burial will be held on Monday, November 25th at 9:00 a.m.
