Jorge Tamayo, age 67, left to be with the Lord on December 6, 2024 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born August 11, 1957 in Brownsville, TX to his cherished mother, Guadalupe Tamayo. A loving husband and wonderful father, who proudly served in the US Army, has passed on to our Heavenly Father Lord. He loved being out in nature and enjoying quiet mornings with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and hanging out with his pet pal cat, Bunny. He enjoyed cinema and had a passion for football, always a faithful fan to the Dallas Cowboys. He had a great sense of humor, an infectious laugh and a Heart of Gold. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May God bless his soul. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Maria Elena Tamayo and daughters, Marissa and Gabriela Tamayo. He was greeted at the heavenly gates by his mother, Guadalupe Tamayo who has preceded him in death. As per Mr. Tamayo's wishes, cremation services will be taking place privately at Heavenly Grace Crematory in La Feria.
