She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Eusebio Garcia Muños.
Janelle leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving parents; Juan and Griselda Garza; her siblings Juan B. Garza; Jon Paul Garza; Jiselle Garza; Paternal grandmother Guadalupe Silvia Garza; Paternal grandfather Bonifacio Garza; Maternal grandmother Maria Magdalen Verdin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was a graduate of the Weslaco Idea Class of 2018. She was involved in cheerleading, student council, The National Honors Society, and of course, was Weslaco East’s biggest fan. Janelle loved to spend time with friends and loved Harry Potter. She was fearlessly herself with a genuine and open heart. Her family was the heart of her being as she served as the glue to family gatherings. She loved listening to vibrant music and dreamt of being a pharmacist one day. She was an inspiration to her peers and family, as a beautiful and strong leader. Her family would describe her as someone selfless, powerful, passionate, and diligent.
A funeral mass for Janelle will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at San Martin De Porres, 901 N Texas Blvd, Weslaco, TX, followed by the visitation at 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM with a rosary at 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel - Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A burial will occur Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park.
