She was married to Juan M. Flores, and was the mother of 7 children (Maria Elia - Juan Jr - Pedro-Jorge Eva-AIfredo and Elisa). She was retired from Weslaco ISD as a Cafeteria Manager. Hermelinda enjoyed caring for all sorts of plants, reading scriptures, devotional books from a variety of spiritual authors.
She is preceded in death by husband; Juan M. Flores and children; Juan Jr Flores and Elisa Flores.
A visitation for Hermelinda will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A eulogy will be at 6:00pm and a rosary will occur at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024.. A funeral mass will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St Joan of Arc, Weslaco, TX. A burial will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park.
