Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Abdon M. Carreño, her children Faustino (Christina) Peña and Maria Del Carmen Carreño, her grandchildren Michael D. Peña, Rafael D. Peña, Kaitlyn R. Peña, Gabriel D. Peña and Jasmine N. Peña and her great grandchildren Liam Sauceda, Michael Sauceda, and Mason J.C. Barbian. She is also survived by her sister Olga Rosales Guerra.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by parents, her son Jose Luis Carreño and her 1st husband, Jose Rigoberto Peña and her siblings Oralia Reyes, Roberto Rosales and Rodolfo Rosales.
A visitation for Guadalupe will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 3:00 PM till midnight with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A church service will occur Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78599.
