He is survived by his spouse; Blanca Pena, children; Morgan Kelly Garza and Lindell Galvan, his grand daughter; Delilah Jade Garza and his beloved family.
He is preceded in death by his brothers; Alberto Garza, Juan Garza Jr, Armando Garza and his mother Gertrudis Garza.
Alfredo "Fred" Garza was a man of few words yet you heard him loud and clear when he spoke. He always said his purpose in life was to provide for his family and he did exactly that. He provided wisdom with a side of tough love, humor with plenty of truth and generosity from a big heart.
Everything he did was for his princesses, Blanca, Lindell, Morgan & Lilah Bird and he made sure they were taken care of as such.
Fred loved to crack some jokes (or a lot), drink his morning coffee, show off his newest cap, watch tv from his favorite chair, BBQ for fun and take his granddaughter on outside walks. He was one of a kind and what you saw is what you got - an honest, hardworking, and sincere man.
A visitation for Alfredo will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
