Alfonso was a strong, hardworking man who came to the US after immigrating from Mexico although with a limited education, he began to work in the RGV and other states to provide for his family. He taught his children the importance of hard work and education, always inspiring them to do better. He enjoyed the outdoors, cultivating crops, growing his own spices and vegetable garden and driving his children around showing them the lands he worked for 40 years; giving them a glimpse of times past, his favorite regional and tamboraso music always playing throughout the day.
He lived his life to the fullest with few regrets, life dealt him some bumps along the way, but lead him to believe in his motto “Siempre para Adelante”. His wisdom, humbleness and generosity and his sense of humor were his greatest qualities.
We love you DAD, and your legacy will live on in us and generations to come.
May you rest in peace.
