Alberta Penilla Silva was a caring and loving person. Her spirit would brighten every room as she illuminated people’s hearts with her warm smile. Her family is forever blessed to have had her kind soul in this lifetime. She will be deeply missed by her family that cherished her, who will never forget her love
She survived by her children; Joe Tomas Silva, Alma Garcia (Juan), Debra Castillo, Augustine Silva, her grandkids; John Anthony Garcia, Jennifer Ann Garcia (Roy), Jonah Abram Garcia, Bethany Leann Lara, Roman David Castillo, Benjamin Thomas Castillo, her great grandkids: Jace Anthony Aguilar and Jarin Amadeus Aguilar.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Tomas Silva, her children; Elizabeth Silva and Sylvia Silva.
A visitation for Alberta will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A prayer service will occur Monday, September 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM. A burial will occur Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
