William "Bill" Simon

Bill lived in Hayes where he attended school and retired from Calcasieu Parish as a Foreman.

Survivors includes step-daughters, Katherine Benoit, JoAnn Myers and Barbara Reber; nieces, Christina King, Katherine Trahan, Brenda Bott and Linda Broussard; nephews, Luther Simon, Charles Simon, David Simon, Joseph Bourgeois and Daniel Broussard; great nephew and caretakers, Danny Simon and wife Patty. He is also survived by a host of other great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Rose Hebert Simon; his parents, Joseph "Jack" and Aimee Simon; brother, Luther Simon; and sisters, Maggie Duplain, Marcelete LeBleu and Bertha Broussard.

His funeral will be at 11a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Burial will be at Hayes Cemetery.
