Rodney Joseph Derouen

He graduated from Welsh High School in 1962. He worked as a Computer Specialist for Penzoil offshore for most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lillian Derouen; brother, Darrel Derouen; and son, Michael Shane Derouen.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Derouen; daughters, Katy Richard and Yvette Derouen; son, Kelly Derouen; and grandsons, Kerry and Korry Derouen.

The family would like to thank Jeff Davis Hospice and all our family members for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

A memorial visitation and service will be held Wednesday, June 05, 2024, at Hixson Welsh Chapel beginning at 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.

Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. We all love and miss you.
