Lee Roy Hardy

He farmed for many years before working for the Dept. of Social Services in Lake Charles as a custodian until his retirement in October 2005. He loved to tend his flower beds and going camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Cart Hardy of Ardoin Cove, LA; son, Andrew Hardy and wife, Angela of Mobile, AL; brothers, Lilton Hardy of Spring, TX and AJ. Hardy of Ardoin Cove, LA; sisters, Margaret Newton and husband, Bill of San Antonio, TX and Kathy Guidry and husband, Robert of Ardoin Cove, LA; one grandchild and three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eva Hardy; brother, Gerald Paul Hardy.

His funeral will be 2:00pm, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Visitation will begin Wednesday 4:00pm-9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm and resume Thursday 8:00am until service time. Interment will be in Ardoin Cove Cemetery.
