Johnny was born to Roul & Lovenia Comeaux Leblanc. He was raised in Lacassine and a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home in Welsh for nearly 40 years. He was named resident of the month, Mardi Gras King and recieved many awards for senior Olympics. Johnny worked on the Verret farm and for Lacassine and Hayes rice driers. Johnny loved playing jokes, dancing and bingo. He belonged to Knights of Columbus #9281 in Lacassine, La.
He is survived by one niece Kathleen LeBlanc, her children and many cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Roul LeBlanc Jr and one nephew Michael LeBlanc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine, La. Rev. Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Visitation will resume at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
