Brackett David Clark (Beau) passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the age of 81. Mr. Clark was a native of Rochester, New York and had lived in Truro, Massachusetts for 25 plus years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife off 44 years, Jennifer Bradford Clark and parents Brackett Haliford Clark (Ruth Moore Clark).
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his three sons, Kitt Clark (Carey) of Denmark, Maine; Brett Clark (Kara) of Lake Forest, California; and Bryan Clark (Jill) of Camas Washington; stepson, Lee Tompkins (Paulette) of Perry, Georgia and stepdaughter Wendy Tompkins of Wellfleet, Massachusetts as well as sisters Sally Clark, Mary Lou Clark and Betsy Clark all of Rochester, New York and ten grandchildren.
Mr. Clark graduated from The Lawrenceville Preparatory School and from Colgate University with a BA degree in English. While at Colgate he was member of the Colgate 13 and involved in various choirs and musical events. During his career he worked as a public school teacher and as President and CEO of Rapidac Machine Corporation. His love of trains also led him to become a major stock holder and President of the Board of Directors of Livonia, Avon and Lakeville Railroad.
Beau was a member of St. Mary’s of the Harbor Church and was an active member of The Outer Cape Chorale. Nickerson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A graveside memorial service was held on Friday, May 21, 2021.
