Ann M. (Silvia) Kelley of Truro passed away on Tuesday October 22nd 2024 after a period of declining health. She was 90. She died 12 days after the passing of her daughter, Sheila J. Kelley. Sheila died after being involved in a car accident on Route 6 in Wellfleet. Ann was unaware of Sheila’s passing and we take comfort that they’re together again.
Ann was born and raised in Provincetown the daughter of Mary (Lisbon) and Emmanuel Silvia. She was also the stepdaughter of Raymond Joseph of Truro. She graduated from Provincetown High School and married the love of her life, Jack Kelley in 1955. She went on to dedicate her life to taking care of her husband and her two daughters and later her grandson. Ann was a kind and gentle woman who always had a smile.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Peggy Dahill and grandson, T.K. Dahill of Eastham. Her daughter Sheila’s partner, Bill Brazile of Eastham. Brothers and sisters, Catherina and Ralph Anderskow of Illinois, Sonny and Susan Silvia of North Truro, Mary Louise Silvia of North Truro, Butch and Marsha Joseph of Truro and Kenny Joseph and his partner Marc Ribeiro of Truro.
She is also survived by her goddaughter, Janice Rose Roderick of Truro. Janice is the daughter of Ann’s best friend, Mary Lou Rose and her husband, Ozzie. Janice and Ann shared a special relationship, but Ann also loved all nine of Mary Lou and Ozzie’s children.
In addition to her husband and daughter, Ann was predeceased by her sons-in-law, Tom Dahill and David Perry. She was also predeceased by her nephew, Tim Silvia.
A funeral mass for Ann and Sheila will be held on Saturday November 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Route 6, Wellfleet MA 02667.
