Vivian Venora (Marsh) Geaslin Temple, of League City, Texas, passed away December 15, 2015, at age 93. Venora was born in Livingston, Texas, to Leonidas and Vivian (Reisinger) Marsh. She was married to Arnett Mason Geaslin until his death; and then, to Thomas Jack Temple, until his death. Venora was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Texas City, and a 70 year member of Order of the Eastern Star, Texas City Chapter 626. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonidas and Vivian Marsh; husband, Arnett Geaslin; husband, Jack Temple; brother, Marshall Marsh; brother, L. P. Marsh; granddaughter, Marcie Lynn Mashaw; and step-son, Thomas Temple. She is survived by her daughter, Dolores (Geaslin) Murray; grandson, Jason Wallace (Sarah); sister-in-law, Edna Marsh; step-daughter, Nancy Robertson (Lee); step-granddaughters Diane, Karen, and Anna (Will); step-grandsons Daniel (Barbara) and Samuel (Julie); six step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Venora’s Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
